Let the Sun Shine in...

I apologize for my delay in blogging. This week has been no fun for Las Lindas co-founders, Kara and Carla. Kara has been on a shoot all week and I have been finishing painting orders for an upcoming wedding this weekend. And to top it off, I think I need a permanent umbrella thanks to all of the rain Louisville’s been getting. I am not sure who coined the phrase “April showers bring May flowers” but they are wrong this year. My poor Roxie Schwinn is sitting on the porch wondering when she will be used again - which may be never if Kara and I can convince our antique bike shop owner to sell me his Debutante bicycle. What would be more perfect than a bicycle called The Debutante? Nothing except maybe a lifetime supply of watermelon Hubba Bubba.

Although we have been busy, we did get a few hours to squeeze in a margarita and a kickball game Tuesday. Kara and I need quality time together even if we aren't riding bikes. While enjoying our yummy blood-orange margaritas outside at Bourbon’s Bistro, we discussed the next two Las Lindas events which are going to be amazing! Details to come so stay tuned!

Speaking of events, check out the 5th Annual Crescent Hill Outdoor Cinema series
. June 20th is “Jaws”, July 10th is a Bike-in showing of “Breaking Away” and August 1st is a double feature: "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" & "Casablanca". All shows are at the Peterson-Dumesnil House, 301 S. Peterson Ave., and all are free to the public. Concessions will be available. They suggest a blanket or lawn-chair and a little bug spray.

We will have much to report in the next couple weeks. We want everyone to be aware of our upcoming events that will begin as soon as we get back from Miami on June 5th. Get your cruisers polished ladies, because we will be riding pretty in no time.

And in the meantime, LIVE OUT LOUD!
